A Moses basket is usually the first bed your little baby will have once you arrive home.

Well, as a mother of two and having gone through the process myself, I feel fairly qualified to answer most questions about Moses baskets. A moses basket is a perfect for a new baby and can be used upto 4/5 months approximately. The basket is usually placed on a solid service or floor but can also be used with a stand if preferred. It is ideally placed next to your bed so that you can keep and eye on your little one whilst asleep - it also means that you don't have to keep jumping out of bed for those night time feeds!

As your baby begins to outgrow their moses basket it is a good idea to begin to let them sleep in their moses basket whilst placed in their cot. It will help your them to begin to adjust to their new surroundings and can help make the transition from moses basket to cot a little easier.
