Designed and developed in the UK by the in-house Saplings design. Based on the gliding cribs that have been used for newborn babies for generations, the Glideaway has an in-built gliding mechanism that will gently rock from side to side and soothe babies and toddlers to sleep. In addition to the gliding function, which has two locking mechanisms, the cotbed has three different heights for the mattress base, fixed sides with teething rails. It converts easily into a junior bed using the separate foot end panel provided. Made from smooth replenished pine with a white finish, the Glideaway has tongue and groove effect panelled ends with curved tops, and comes with two spacious easy glide drawers, which can still be used when the cotbed is converted into a junior bed.
