Baby Morning Sickness
Morning sickness
Morning sickness can actually occur at anytime, although to be fair, most of the time it is actually in the mornings. Morning sickness can start before you even miss your first period, most people will tell you that after three months its fine. However as in most things, this is not always the case and I have a couple of close friends that can qualify that. Some people can have morning sickness throughout their pregnancy unfortunately.
OK then so what is the cause ?
There is no 100% correct answer to this at this point. However it is believed pregnancy hormones cause the sickness which affecting all your organs as it prepares. There are a few theories floating around, one being the body is protecting the foetus from harmful substances. What can I do to help myself ?
" Try to have small snacks " Don't have huge meals " Avoid fat " Avoid having your stomach empty for more than 2 hours " Try crispbread, crackers or piece of plain toast to keep your strength up " Eat fruit " Avoid heavy sweet food " Obey cravings (within reason) " Try some ginger tea
